2021February 23，欧盟委员会批准发布了授权法规(EU) 2021/277，修订持久性有机污染物(POPs)statute(EU) 2019/1021附录I中有关五氯苯酚(Pentachlorophenol, PCP)及其盐类和酯类的限制项。修订将于2021年3月15日生效。

根据该授权法规，将增加以下豁免：
此限制项中，豁免作为微量污染物而存在于物质、混合物或物品中的，浓度等于或小于5 mg/kg (0.0005%) （按重量计）的五氯苯酚及其盐类和酯类。
